Front Fix Guardrail

Evorail Front Fix is a bespoke product, generally used when roof space is an issue and a parapet system cannot be used. This system is extremely flexible and can be adapted to provide a solution if our more popular versions cannot be used.

It can be used to address a variety of applications, such as;

Too much plant or ducting on the roof to allow adequate space for freestanding guardrail.
Standing Seam, Composite or Built up roof.

To avoid the weight or loadings on the roof.

When the parapet wall has additional plant, walkways or existing fixtures.

All of the system screw fixings are grade A2 stainless steel, the posts and rails have an extra smooth galvanized finish which is far superior to rival hot dipped products. It’s easier to install with pre-galvanised 2mm tube and has telescopic adjustable legs to compensate for any rise and fall on the roof surface. To help the environment, our 20kg counterbalance weights are made from re-cycled rubber.

Evorail Front Fix is available in;

  • Extra Smooth Galvanised Steel
  • Aluminium
  • 304 or 316 grade Stainless Steel
  • Painted to any RAL colour over galvanised steel

Front Fix Guardrail FAQs

If you have a question about our Front Fix Guardrail please contact us today.

What is the Evorail Top Fix system and what makes it versatile?

Evorail Top Fix is the most adaptable guardrail system in the Evorail range. With custom-designed base plates and in-house fabrication, it can be installed on standing seam roofs, composite and built-up roofs, concrete, brick, and timber surfaces. It can also be configured as a single-rail system where parapets are over 500mm high.

Where can the Evorail Top Fix system be installed?

The system is suitable for a wide variety of roof types including standing seam (using a unique clamp block), composite panels, built-up roofing, concrete, brick, and timber structures. Its versatility makes it ideal for buildings where a traditional freestanding or parapet guardrail cannot be used.

Why choose Evorail Top Fix over other roof edge protection systems?

Evorail Top Fix offers long-term durability with grade A2 stainless steel fixings and a smooth galvanised finish superior to standard hot-dipped alternatives. The pre-galvanised 2mm tube and telescopic adjustable legs simplify installation, even on uneven roof surfaces.

Does the Evorail Top Fix system help reduce roof impact?

Yes. The system is engineered to minimise load transfer to the roof surface. Its fixing methods are designed to prevent water ingress, and the installation avoids unnecessary stress on roofing materials, making it suitable for sensitive roof structures.

What material options are available for Evorail Top Fix?

Evorail Top Fix is available in smooth galvanised steel, aluminium, and 304 or 316 grade stainless steel. It can also be powder coated to any RAL colour, allowing visual integration with the building design.
