6 Leg Mobile Man Anchors

Our 6 Leg Mobile Man Anchor has a total weight of 260kg and is suitable for most applications. It consists of a 6 leg 20kg central anchor point onto which the 20kg steel weights and 20kg rubber weights are added. The steel weights have 5mm rubber protection pads fitted, this prevents any possible damage to susceptible roof surfaces and provides better grip on all surfaces. Assembly is a quick and easy process. Then simply attach a safety harness and it’s ready to use.

To move the Mobile Man Anchor to a new location, a simple strip down and reassembly can be done in minutes.

The steel weights include protective rubber pads to prevent roof surface damage. Assembly is quick and simple, requiring only attachment of components before connecting a safety harness.

Can the Mobile Man Anchor be moved easily between locations?

Yes. The design allows for rapid strip-down and reassembly within minutes. Components can be safely transported by packing weights face-to-face with the centre piece on top.

On what roof types can the Mobile Man Anchor be used?

According to the test data, the 6-point Mobile Man Anchor is approved for use on chipping, bitumen, paving slab, and asphalt roof surfaces. It must not be used on steel or PVC membrane roofs.

Minimum placement distance must be 2.5m from any roof edge.

What safety requirements must be followed when using the Mobile Man Anchor?

Only one person (up to 100kg) may be attached at any time. Users must be trained, medically fit to work at height, and use the system as fall restraint wherever possible. Regular inspections are required before every use. All replacement components can be purchased.
